To celebrate Gon Bops historic 55'th year, we proudly offer these limited edition congas. Using hand-selected lumber from only the finest air-dryed quarter-sawn Red Appalachian Oak, each stave is meticulously cut and shaped by hand, steel rings hand-hammered into place, then cured for months. The shells are then hand-glued, hammered into shape and turned by an artisan who has made these shells ths old-fashioned way for over 20 years. Once they are sanded to a baby-soft finish, nearly one full year has passed. Available in all California Series sizes in Vintage Oak Satin Oil with chrome hardware and USA side plates.
